War medals are floated on top of matt board and placed into a box frame. The object is spaced away from the glass in the frame and should never touch.
Placing a small photo above the medals is a beautiful touch. It gives the frames a personal aspect to it.
Medals framed on their own in a frame can look a bit under framed. There is no reference to the soldier.
Sports medals and Sporting Memorabilia look great in a frame. A photo of the moment it is won is a nice touch to be included in the frame.
How to prepare your work for us before you come in
Get any war medals put together in order on a clasp ready for wearing. An RSA will tell you which order from left to right they should go.
An original photo and not copies of the soldier adds a warmer more personal feel to the framing
Sporting medals should be brought in with their long ribbons left on. Decide which side of the medal you want to see, the back or the front.
